Project

Bespoke Slabs for a Russian mall

The architectural design for Europolis, an extensive shopping centre in St. Petersburg that, together with Aviapark – the largest shopping centre in Europe – dates back to 2014. It marks the close partnership between Stone Italiana and some important Russian architecture firms.

Supplying 2,000 square metres of engineered quartz flooring, Stone Italiana has brought the quality and practicality of products Made in Italy to one of the most intensely-visited venues in the metropolis. Made to measure using waterjet technology, these slabs are used clad the floors in public areas and passageways with dynamism and colour.
Europolis is a good example of bespoke flexibility: Stone Italiana has always performed research in all sectors of production, from the range of finishes to improvements in product performance. By means of constant experimentation and ongoing investments into Research & Development, Stone Italiana is capable of offering trend-setting solutions that combine the latest themes in contemporary architecture with the personal tastes of those who choose them.
