Zambon SpA is a pharmaceutical multinational founded in Vicenza in 1906 and today present in 23 countries in Europe, America and Asia. The design of the brand-new Zambon Biotech headquarters in Cadempino (Switzerland) was entrusted to Studio Elementare Paolo Pasquini Architetti.
To ensure maximum light, transparency and comfort for employees and visitors to the building and the shared spaces, all the interior walls are made of glass. Many spaces directly overlook the surrounding nature, giving pleasant and relaxing views. What’s more, there are no right angles in the rooms, for a more attractive and dynamic environment.
The choice of colors was also geared to creating a mood of openness and welcome. The shades used were carefully chosen to be delicate and neutral, thus helping to heighten the feeling of spaciousness.
This approach is also reflected in the white kitchen worktop in the break area, which blends harmoniously with its setting. For the worktop, a Stone Italiana surface was chosen in the shade Bianco Cimbro; the same material was also used to clad two walls of the kitchenette – a corner of the mainly wooden break area – which contains the worktop, a shelf (also in Stone Italiana Bianco Cimbro) and a sink. A highly elegant solution that can enhance the appearance of the entire area, amplifying the brightness of the space thanks to the shiny gloss finish. The surface is beautiful to look at and extremely high-performance, designed for anyone who loves to socialize during breaks at work or prolonged coffee times. By its very nature, Bianco Cimbro is extremely resistant to impact, scratches and abrasion, as well as heat. Tested for hygiene and easy to clean, the surface does not absorb stains or odors. Last but not least, NFS certification testifies to its suitability in contact with food, an essential property for a busy, high-traffic space like a shared kitchen.
The shade Bianco Cimbro SNV features from 2024 in the CosmoliteⓇ Supernova collection, made with the purest selected raw materials and a residue of 5% or less of crystalline silica. In addition to its technical specifications, the SUPERNOVA collection boasts a very special esthetic appeal.
