A Black&White bathroom – a design option that is both simple and supremely elegant – for a colour contrast that, both in fashion and design, never goes unnoticed.
The bathroom interior is an intimate space where practicality, hygiene and functionality are primary considerations, with no compromise on visual appearance. In order to meet these design requirements, Stone Italiana created a special rhombus-patterned wall cladding, a bespoke design for the architect who supervised the refurbishment, and which features the alternation of black and white in a sophisticated vertical pattern.
The same colours are used for the bench-type quartz bathroom vanity top (in Imperiale 20black), the wall covering (white Virgo) and the quartz floor (also Virgo), with Gloss finish.
The interior design for this bathroom is based on the Classic collection, comprising the basic colours. This project shows how a distinctive interior can be made using simple colours from the Stonit collection.
White suggests purity, while black communicates elegance: a combination particularly appreciated in contemporary bathroom design, enhanced by period timber fixtures and vintage chandeliers with crystal glass pendants that combine to perfection with the black&white quartz cladding.
With high levels of resistance to impact and stains, the quartz vanity tops by Stone Italiana also meet high standards of functionality and visual appearance, as a result of the specific composition of the engineered quartz that offers hardness, hygiene, ease of cleaning and a wide range of personalization possibilities.
The basic colours of the Classic collection in fact range from white, through grey, to black, and they include the colour Pitti, a type of grey that contains a 7% proportion of Montorfano White Granite obtained from pre-consumer waste generated during quarrying. This style option reflects the manufacturing approach, with the environmental sustainability that has been a characteristic of Stone Italiana right from its foundation.
