The new wave in design is green
With the 61st Salone del Mobile underway at the Rho exhibition centre, the city is experiencing an explosion of creativity fuelled by an overflowing calendar of events playing out in the showrooms and spaces dedicated to design. In addition to the events, BasicVillage – housed in a former industrial building in the Farini district – offers a 1,000 sq.m. venue for contributors to the new wave in contemporary design.
Cosmolite® made its debut at Convey – a project that features a selection of brands that share the same values and communities and aims to capture and contribute to the construction of a new scenario in international design.
Stone Italiana was chosen as the technical partner to furnish benches, bleachers, tables and seats in Cosmolite® in the outdoor convivial areas and inside the EDIT Milano restaurant, which thus found themselves speaking the language of a sustainable and New Material, entirely obtained from pre-consumer recycled minerals.
An eclectic and highly performing soul, Cosmolite® has also been applied as kitchen worktops on display in the Very Simple Kitchen showroom.
Four collections have set up the convivial areas of Convey in an eco-friendly key: among these Venantis, K-Star, Meteor e Cosmo.
