Like all Cosmolite® surfaces, Luna CMT is composed of non-quartz inert materials from 100% pre-consumer recycled minerals. The mixture of recycled aggregates is compacted through vacuum vibro-compression with a binder partly derived from renewable plant sources. This composition reduces environmental impact and provides the material with high technical performance: it is easy to clean, stain-resistant, scratch-resistant, and heat-resistant up to approximately 180 °C. Thanks to these requirements, Luna CMT is LEED v4, UL Greenguard Gold, and NSF/ANSI 51 certified for food contact.
The Luna variant is available only with a Gloss finish, which adds brightness and elegant reflections to the surface. Slabs from the CMT Essential range measure 144 × 307 cm, with a thickness of 1.2 cm or 2 cm. They are designed for multiple applications: kitchen countertops and cabinet doors, bathroom cladding, flooring, and furniture accessories.
