Starwhite CMT belongs to the K-STAR collection, a line created to offer architecture and interior design a sustainable material with an innovative texture: the grain is larger than in other collections and evokes the grainy effect of natural stone without mimicking it. Within this color range, Starwhite represents the lightest and most neutral shade: the slab has a very light cream background dotted with white and hazelnut-brown inclusions. These chips create a delicate and irregular pattern that adds depth to the surface and recalls traditional terrazzo; the overall effect is bright yet warm, perfect for environments where a white that is not too cold is desired to complement natural woods, golden metals, and pastel tones.
Like all Cosmolite® surfaces, Starwhite is made entirely from pre-consumer recycled minerals and uses a polymer binder partly derived from plant sources; this process reduces environmental impact while ensuring a high-performance technical material. The slabs are easy to process, scratch and stain resistant, and heat resistant up to 180 °C, allowing for safe and hygienic use in kitchens or bathrooms. The K-Star collection also allows Starwhite to be available in three finishes (Gloss, Grain 2.0, and Rocplan 2.0) and in a 144 × 307 cm format with a single thickness of 2 cm; these features make it suitable for kitchen countertops, wall cladding, flooring, and furniture accessories. In summary, Starwhite combines the elegance of a bright cream color with the sustainability of recycled materials and the practicality of a highly resistant surface, offering a versatile option for modern and timeless projects.
