Milano CMT evokes the understated and refined atmosphere of the Lombard capital. The surface features a medium grey dotted with fine grains, with delicate hints of brown that give the slab a warm and contemporary look. The fine-grained texture makes this material discreet yet full of personality, ideal for pairing with light woods, metals, or textured surfaces.

Like all Cosmolite® slabs, Milano CMT is made from 100% non-quartz pre-consumer recycled minerals, compacted with a partially bio-based polymer binder. This low-emission process results in a material that is easy to work, scratch and stain resistant, and heat-tolerant up to approximately 180 °C. Slabs are available in Gloss, Grain 2.0, and Rocplan 2.0 finishes, in 144 × 307 cm sizes with 1.2 cm or 2 cm thicknesses.

The Milano variant is suitable for multiple applications: kitchen countertops and doors, bathroom vanities, indoor flooring, and wall cladding. The combination of chromatic elegance and sustainability makes it the ideal choice for projects seeking to combine contemporary design with environmental respect.

FINISHES

Stone Italiana stands out with 3 distinct finishes. Let’s examine them in detail:

A surface finish that gives the material a matte and uniform effect, both visually and to the touch.
Achieved through mechanical brushing, which enhances the texture and provides a pleasant softness upon contact. The technology used in 2.0 surfaces guarantees maximum protection against liquids, stains, limescale, mold, grease, and contaminants, without altering the surface appearance and minimizing maintenance requirements for the fabricator and end customer.

A textured surface finish that gives the material a rough, tactile, and uniform effect, both visually and to the touch.
A treatment designed to evoke the appearance of traditional stone sandblasting, but executed using a state-of-the-art technological process.
