When infrastructure demands performance and the project requires aesthetic consistency, a project like the one developed by Stone Italiana and Stantec for Denver International Airport (DEN), one of the busiest airports in the world, comes to life.
Since 2020, the Verona-based company has been supplying multiple batches totaling approximately 40,000 m² of engineered stone slabs for flooring in a CUSTOM color, developed based on Brillante Bianco, one of Stone Italiana’s historic colors.
The chromatic reference originates from a luminous white enriched with recycled glass and mirror fragments, reinterpreted to meet the aesthetic and technical requirements of the airport environment.
The material has been produced in various formats to optimize modularity and installation, ensuring visual continuity and precision across large walkable surfaces.
The mixture has also been engineered with a static-dissipative component, essential for post-installation performance.
The project continues in 2026 with a new supply for additional public areas, confirming the expertise built over nearly 50 years of projects on large-scale, high-traffic surfaces.
