Tour Ariane is a commercial skyscraper that rises above the rooftops of La Défense, Paris’s financial district. Standing 152 meters tall across 36 floors, the tower features an original cladding that finds continuity in terms of uniqueness and differentiation in the grand entrance hall.
It is precisely here that Stone Italiana slabs were installed on the floor, not from a particular collection but rather as a Custom project—designed and produced by the company specifically to meet the requirements of Architect Silvio Petraccone and the intended use.
The flooring consists of slabs that differ not in composition, finish, or format, but in color: upon closer inspection, two shades of red alternate, expertly achieved by Stone Italiana through collaboration between the architect and the internal laboratory. This result symbolizes the tireless research that characterizes Stone Italiana’s development: even in terms of tones and nuances, Stone never stops experimenting, achieving even very similar yet distinct tones.

Stone Italiana stands out with 3 distinct finishes. Let’s examine them in detail:
A surface finish that gives the material a matte and uniform effect, both visually and to the touch.
Achieved through mechanical brushing, which enhances the texture and provides a pleasant softness upon contact. The technology used in 2.0 surfaces guarantees maximum protection against liquids, stains, limescale, mold, grease, and contaminants, without altering the surface appearance and minimizing maintenance requirements for the fabricator and end customer.
