Cosmolite® ZERO marks the beginning of the third chapter of Eco Mineral Stone by Stone Italiana. It is a sustainable surface containing 0% crystalline silica, designed for the worlds of furniture, design, and architecture—sectors that demand increasingly responsible materials without compromising on quality and performance. Its formulation was developed with clear objectives in mind: to offer a product that is safer for those who work with it and more reliable for the end user, thanks to high quality standards.
The result of research conducted by Stone Italiana’s R&D laboratories, this composition incorporates pre-consumer recycled glass sourced from an entirely Italian supply chain, in line with an advanced, sustainability-oriented production philosophy. The color options available in Cosmolite® ZERO have been designed for high-end applications, where design, performance, and social and environmental responsibility are essential requirements.
100% Recycled Glass
A mixture composed of 100% pre-consumer recycled glass derived from the collection of glass scrap from glassworks throughout Italy.
100% Made in Italy
The raw materials used in Cosmolite® ZERO come from an Italian supply chain. Twenty-one percent of the resin comes from plant-based sources.

Use of Manufacturing Scraps
Glass scrap collected from glassworks throughout Italy is used in the production of Cosmolite® ZERO, thereby avoiding the use of new raw materials obtained through direct extraction.
Responsible Production
The raw material arrives at plants where it undergoes a multi-step processing that ensures its quality, safety, and suitability for reuse.

The raw material is sourced within Italy, ensuring a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions during the procurement process.

Stone Italiana uses a resin that is 21% plant-based.
Pressing of Raw Materials

Why is zero silica important?+
It ensures maximum safety for those who work with the material and for the end user, eliminating the risks associated with respirable crystalline silica. This is the most advanced application of Eco Mineral Stone.
Does it have good technical performance?+
Yes. Specifically, it offers the best impact resistance among the Cosmolite lines (6.6 joules versus 3.8/3.6). It is also resistant to stains, acids (Class C4), and thermal shock (0.0% after 20 cycles).
