Meteor Dark CMT is designed for those seeking a bold look reminiscent of lava stone. The surface features an intense black background punctuated by small white flecks, creating an elegant contrast and a strong-charactered texture. The effect recalls a starry sky or basaltic stone with light inclusions, ideal for modern or industrial environments.
The Meteor collection is inspired by the effect of natural stone, offering four neutral colors with subtle grainy patterns and multiple shades that provide a contemporary rusticity. Meteor Dark is the darkest shade in this range, enhancing spaces thanks to its mix of dark tones and bright inclusions.
Like all Cosmolite® surfaces, Meteor Dark is composed of 100% recycled pre-consumer minerals and uses a partially bio-based binder. The vacuum vibro-compression process produces slabs that are resistant to scratches, stains, and heat up to approximately 180 °C, easy to process, and certified for food contact.
Meteor Dark CMT is available in Gloss, Grain 2.0, and Rocplan 2.0 finishes and is produced in 144 × 307 cm slabs with thicknesses of 1.2 cm or 2 cm. Thanks to its chromatic depth, it is particularly suitable for kitchen and bathroom tops, flooring, cladding, and furniture accessories, where the contrast between black and white creates a refined and contemporary visual effect.
