Imperiale is the boldest and most dramatic variant of the CMT Essential collection. Its surface features a deep black background dotted with visible gray stone chips, a chromatic contrast that evokes the texture of basalt or the night sky and gives depth and character to interiors. The light inclusions break the monotony of black and create plays of light that make this slab ideal for contemporary design: paired with natural woods, brushed metals, or vibrant colors, Imperiale interacts with different materials and textures offering harmonious solutions ranging from industrial to more elegant looks.

Like all Cosmolite® surfaces, Imperiale is a low environmental impact product: the slab is made entirely from pre-consumer recycled mineral aggregates sourced from the stone extraction industry. This sustainable composition does not compromise performance: the material is resistant to chipping, scratches, and stains, does not absorb odors, and is easy to clean, ensuring high hygiene even in contact with food. Imperiale CMT is available in three finishes—Gloss, Grain 2.0, and Rocplan 2.0—and is supplied in large-format slabs (144 × 307 cm) with thicknesses of 1.2 cm or 2 cm. Thanks to these characteristics, the surface lends itself to multiple applications—from kitchen countertops to bathroom cladding, flooring, and furnishing accessories—bringing to interior spaces a blend of elegance, originality, and environmental responsibility.
