Meteor Light ZERO is a surface in shades of gray and cream: its neutral base is punctuated by a delicate tonal variation and small inclusions that evoke an earthy look. Some retailers describe this color as “taupe-beige with subtle mineral undertones,” capable of adding understated elegance and refined rustic charm to any space. The light veining and “fine grit” effect give the surface a natural, soft look, ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms with contemporary or Nordic designs.
Like all Cosmolite® slabs, Meteor Light is manufactured through vacuum vibrocompression of non-quartz aggregates recovered 100% from pre-consumer waste. A small percentage of the binder comes from renewable plant-based sources, making the material low in silica and more environmentally friendly. This composition ensures excellent workability and high performance: the surfaces are easy to clean, stain-resistant, and resistant to scratches and heat up to approximately 180 °C. Cosmolite® is certified to LEED v4, UL Greenguard Gold, and NSF/ANSI 51 for food contact, confirming its low VOC emissions and suitability for kitchens and bathrooms.
Meteor Light slabs are available in the Gloss, Grain 2.0, and Rocplan 2.0 finishes. They measure 144 × 307 cm and are available in thicknesses of 1.2 cm or 2 cm. Thanks to its combination of warm colors, subtle texture, and sustainability, Meteor Light CMT is perfect for kitchen and bathroom countertops, flooring, wall coverings, and home furnishings, lending interiors a welcoming and contemporary touch.
