Imperiale is the boldest and most striking variant in the CMT Essential collection. Its surface features a deep black background dotted with visible gray stone chips—a color contrast that evokes the texture of basalt or the night sky and lends depth and character to any space. The light-colored inclusions break up the monotony of the black and create plays of light that make this slab ideal for contemporary designs: paired with natural woods, brushed metals, or vibrant colors, Imperiale complements various materials and fabrics, offering harmonious solutions that range from an industrial look to a more elegant one.

Like all Cosmolite® surfaces, Imperiale is an environmentally friendly product: the slab is made entirely from pre-consumer recycled mineral aggregates sourced from the stone quarrying industry. This sustainable composition does not compromise performance: the material is resistant to chipping, scratches, and stains; it does not absorb odors; and it is easy to clean, ensuring a high level of hygiene even when in contact with food. Imperiale CMT is available in three finishes—Gloss, Grain 2.0, and Rocplan 2.0—and comes in large slabs (144 × 307 cm) with thicknesses of 1.2 cm or 2 cm. Thanks to these characteristics, the surface is suitable for a wide range of applications—from kitchen countertops to bathroom wall coverings, flooring, and furniture—bringing a blend of elegance, originality, and environmental responsibility to interior spaces.
