Surfaces by Stone Italiana were chosen to enhance a luxurious, sophisticated bathroom in London, combining the onyx of the porcelain stoneware Kerit range with the Stonit quartz of theMicro collection .
The design solution is a tribute to the material and its elegance, with an alternation between marble-effect Calacatta stoneware and the onyx inserts in the shower, in perfect combination with the technical and visual performance of the Stone Italiana quartz used on the floor and one wall, for a super-sophisticated bathroom look.
The color palette chosen for the design begins with the pure white of Calacatta Oro Lucido (gloss gold Calacatta), used for the wall cladding and as a complement to the bathroom top. The veining of the Kerit collection combines with the rich textures of the Micro Greige series with Grain surface finish, a matte gray color used for the floor, shower tray, and shower wall cladding.
Used both on the floor and for the shower wall cladding, Stonit quartz slabs from the Micro collection are particularly comfortable to touch (as a result of the surface finish, which enhances its fine grain) and offer a high performance for interiors subject to moisture and vapor, such as the bathroom; in addition, they are resistant to molds and bacteria due to the material’s intrinsic natural characteristics.
Hallmarked by its full-bodied, neutral shades, Micro is named after the grain of a finer texture when compared with that typical of other quartz surfaces, that makes it suitable for any design combining different materials and enhancing the sophisticated style of the domestic interior that, more than any other, symbolizes relaxation, intimacy and comfort..
