Superwhite 13 slabs at the Farnesina building

As part of the “Farnesina Design” project promoting Italian design excellence at an international level through the refurbishment and improvement of the building housing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Stone Italiana completed the renovation project for the guest waiting room. The reception desk, over 6 metres in length, is a design by architect Silvia Dalla Valle in collaboration with architect Elvilino Zangrandi. A design solution in which appearance is not sacrificed for practicality: on the contrary, they are combined in what could be described as a true furnishing accessory. In fact, the reception desk consists of large layered slabs, chosen from the Micro+ collection in the Superwhite colour. With its very fine, almost imperceptible grain, Micro+ is made from superfine quartz powder. It is available in six solid pastel hues, creating the purest possible “plain colour” effect.
