Crédit Agricole bank in Paris

Project

The Materia collection used for flooring and stairs

Quartz cladding from the Materia collection was used by the design studio Delafosse + Architecture Intérieure for the branch of Crédit Agricole Bank in Paris, for its distinctive characteristics of strength and performance, accompanied by an exceptional appearance.

The colors chosen were Superwhite 13 Grain 2.0 and Luna Grain 2.0.

Designed to provide a combination of durability and safety, even in retail and public venues subject to high pedestrian traffic, the Materia collection was used for the cladding of quartz floors and the steps of the staircase inside the bank. With the Grain finish, this solution also ensures non-slip performance.

Materia is a “no-color” collection, in which all the attention is dedicated to surface finish. This gives the architect a wide range of expressive possibilities, the finest possible response to the need for flexibility and personalization that has become de rigueur in the world of interior design.

Grain is a matt surface finish chosen for the floors of the bank’s branches in France, in distinctive shades of light gray and white. The color Superwhite 13 Grain 2.0 was chosen for the area dedicated to offices.

In the welcome area and waiting room, the quartz flooring was installed according to a personalized design recalling a blurred chessboard, featuring the alternation of slabs in Personalized Gray with others in white, once again the color Superwhite 13.

The material supplied also comprised slabs ofquartz by Stone Italiana on the steps of the attractive circular central staircase , which brings staff and customers towards the upper floors, referencing the white color and modern lines chosen for the bank’s furnishings.

Business interiors such as offices, stores and shopping malls call for solutions combining fine appearance with the high technical performance of the materials used. Using versatile and safe materials that are a perfect match for contemporary trends, quartz slabs for flooring by Stone Italiana add uncompromising originality and technical performance to these interiors, which receive large numbers of people every day.

By means of an extensive range of colors, shapes and finishes, Stone Italiana creates the style and interior design required for the venue, enhancing the space to the full.
