Tour Ariane (Ariane Tower) is a commercial skyscraper that rises high above the rooftops of La Défense, Paris’ financial district. 152 meters in height with 36 floors, the tower building has an original cladding that is mirrored, in terms of uniqueness and differentiation, by the finish in the large entrance hall.
It is here that Stone Italiana flooring slabs were laid, not taken from a single collection, but part of a Custom design, in other words specifically tailored and manufactured by the company according to the requirements of architect Silvio Petraccone and the floor’s intended use.
The floor is comprised of slabs varying not in composition, finish or size, but in color: in fact, on closer inspection, it can be seen that there are two alternating shades of red, expertly created by Stone Italiana by means of the architect’s collaboration with the internal design studio. This result reflects the incessant research that is a hallmark of Stone Italiana’s development: even on the themes of tones and shades of color, Stone Italiana continues in its quest for innovation, and it is capable of creating hues that are very similar but nonetheless tangibly different.
