Circular economy: Stone Italiana’s impressions

“‘I think having land and not ruining it is the most beautiful art that anybody could ever want.” A warning uttered by Andy Warhol more than 40 years ago but whose power and meaning is equally true in today’s world and in the modern economy.

The increasing awareness of man’s impact on the environment and the consequent risks, leads to the need to rethink sustainable economic models from the environmental, as well as economic and social, points of view. This is the viewpoint with which Confindustria Verona organized, on Monday 28 June at 3:00 p.m., a meeting dedicated to the theme of the Circular Economy, with the aim of examining how the transition from a linear to a circular model allows not only an improvement in environmental performance, but also the creation of added value for companies.

Strongly committed to the importance of sustainable production, Stone Italiana is taking part in the webinar, describing its experiences and the reasons underlying the company’s decision to undertake the transformation of its business model.. Roberto Dalla Valle, President of Stone Italiana, will talk about the challenges, processes, obstacles and benefits deriving from considering production as an opportunity for ethical and sustainable growth.
